Not keeping my prop notes up-to-date is definitely a mistake! I frequently get deja-vu moments when something rots/dies/doesn't germinate/root etc and vaguely remember it's because I tried the exact same thing last year... Also yes, for the seed trays! I always do a bit of research before I sow and have now started writing on the labels the expected germination time. On stubborn ones I just write in capital letters "AAAAAAAGES" that works as a prompt to not throw out.
