@Loomy Grows I would wait till you have a really good amount of roots and chop them in half so they branch once potted, instead of having long dangly ones that all clump together in the pot. I think weaning is important too so once potted keep where you had the cutting for another week so not too many changes all at once. Good luck!

Yes certainly learning patience as a propagator is important! As you're working with plants not plants are working with you.

Hi! I think that should work well, I haven’t tried it myself but you’ve inspired me to now, for some of the rarer Scheff. Cuttings work well, as long as you don’t pot them up too early, I’m afraid I’ve killed one or two from probably too rich a feed once potted up. This video should help know how to do it.

I’ve just listened to this podcast and it has backed up all my ideas about micorrhizal fungi and sterilising compost. I don’t know a huge amount on this subject but have always felt it was unnecessary and controlling to sterilise soil then add fertilisers. I plan on using non sterilised loam and leaf mould as potting mix as well as selling plants from open ground, I think this will suffice and not impact the biological system already in place. I would love to know what you all think or if anyone knows a great deal on soil and micorrhiza to get in touch for the zine.
