Hello, I'd like to ask a question about growing media for seed starting.
I've been looking for a good peat-free growing medium to start seeds in. What are your recommendations? I'd love to hear about your experiences with those like Dalesfoot, Melcourt - those are the big ones I'm aware of anyway. Do you use them off the shelf or prefer to add to them?
One day I'd love to make my own seed-starting medium but I'm not quite there yet, and have lots of seeds to start shortly! I'd love to find one which is widely available, not eye-wateringly expensive, and with good germination results.
